              SOBUKAN                     

 

The Sobukan is the Dojo's name where Sensei teaches different Taditional Japanese Martial Arts.

 

The sobukan was established in 1977.

 

The Sobukan have generated thousands of students around the globe, and hundreds of skilled Yudansha (Black Belts) among them , many have their own Dojos and are teaching  Budo either on a full  time or part time basis. 

 

So: means all or many

Bu: means martial

Kan: means house or Dojo in this case

 

        What are the styles taught at the Sobukan ?

 

Sensei teaches

Nihon Koryu Bujutsu

which is Traditional Japanese Martial Arts.

 

Sensei teaches the Classical Ryu following the old traditions.The following are the 4 Ryu that form the core of our Mokuroku syllabus

 

 1)  HAKKO RYU

 

2)  TAKEDA RYU

 

3)   SHINDO RYU

 

4)  ASAYAMA ICHIDEN RYU
